Heather Peck is a native Iowan who currently resides in North Liberty. Heather enlisted in the United States Navy right out of high school and spent six years serving, two on active duty and four in the naval reserves. Her two years on active duty were spent as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington DC.
Due to career opportunities for both her and her husband, Heather spent fifteen years on the East Coast. She worked as a professional in the Veterinary Medicine field as well as a Biology teacher at The Family Foundation School in Hancock, New York. Prior to her position with NCCC, Heather was the Hospital Administrator for the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Specialty Center for two and a half years.
Heather has been hired as the Program Associate for the North Central Region. Her responsibilities include coordinating a wide range of logistical requirements that supports the Program Office. Heather had a desire to continue serving the country in some capacity. She researched job opportunities within the Federal government and came across the Program Associate Position which pertained to her background. Heather is excited to continue to enrich the mission of the NCCC.
