Josie Margaret Rundlett and Matthew David Beecher were united in marriage on August 13th, 2011 at the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton, Iowa, with Cory Crowley, friend of the couple, officiating the ceremony.
Josie is the daughter of Bill and Deb Rundlett of Vinton. Matt is the son of David and Gail Beecher, also of Vinton.
The maid of honor was Jessica Rundlett, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids were Erin (Hopp) Liggett, sorority sister of the bride, Chelsea Donison, sorority sister of the bride, Kaitlin (Karrick) Jablonski, childhood friend of the bride, Kathryn Ott, friend of the couple and Breahna Galbreath, friend of the couple.
The best man was Bryan Beecher, brother of the groom, and the groomsmen were Nick Beecher, brother of the groom, Jon Beecher, brother of the groom, John Welch, friend of the groom, Nick Staab, childhood friend of the groom, Maison Bleam, friend of the couple and Kyle Liske, friend of the couple.
Ushers were Paul Easker, friend of the groom, David Easker, friend of the groom, Evan Conard, friend of the couple and Dakota Rundlett, brother of the bride. Acolytes were Jason Andriano and Allyson Andriano, cousins of the bride.
A reception, dinner and dance followed at Tara Hills Country Club in Van Horne with Kristin Hopper-Losenicky and Georgia(Meeker) Sysouchanh, friends of the couple, serving as hostesses.
Josie is a graduate of Simpson College, completing her bachelor of arts in political science and history in 2009. Matt is a graduate of Iowa State University, completing his bachelor of science in computer engineering in 2009.
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica in November, after returning to their home in College Park, Maryland. Josie works as a scheduler on Capitol Hill and Matt pursues his Masters of Science in Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University while working as a researcher at the Laboratory for Telecommunication Sciences.
