Hometown: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Hannah is serving as the Hickory 2 NCCC FEMA Corps Team Leader at the Vinton Campus. She chose to participate in AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps because she wants to gain experience in the emergency management field. Hannah says that she wouldn’t be the person she is today without the help of a lot of people and now it is her turn to give a hand to people who have hit a rough patch in life.

Hannah graduated from the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences in 2008 and the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a minor in Business. After her service year ends Hannah plans pursue a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management or Crisis Communication.

Hannah has a leadership background that includes Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), sports, and college club leadership roles. She defines her greatest strength as her ability to find commonalities between people and build strong teams. She looks forward to using this skill as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps.
