By: Rachel Lebeaux Name: Connor Fannon Hometown: Voorhees, N. J. Connor is serving his term with AmeriCorps NCCC at the Vinton Campus as a member of Cedar 2. He decided to do a year of service in order to give back to communities and help people in need. He enjoys disassembling and reassembling machinery and electronics, drawing, Airsoft, woodworking and painting. Connor graduated from Eastern Regional High School in 2011. He was working at a transportation depot as a bus aide prior to joining NCCC. After his term of service, Connor intends on applying to college. Connor and his team are currently serving in Coggon, Iowa assisting YMCA Camp Wapsie with facilities upgrades and camp activities. Prior to this project, Cedar 2 was in Traverse City, Mich. working with the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy on a variety of environmental projects including seed collection and invasive species removal as well as working in Toledo, Ohio with the Toledo Botanical Gardens.
