Name: Victoria Robinson

Hometown: Long Island City, N.Y.

Victoria is serving as a member of the NCCC FEMA Corps team Spruce 1 at the Vinton Campus. She chose to participate in NCCC FEMA Corps because she wanted to travel and reach out to communities in order to help as many people as possible.

Victoria graduated from Talent Unlimited High School in 2007 and the University of Hartford in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. During her service term she hopes to explore potential career options but would also consider pursuing additional education after her service ends.

During college Victoria studied abroad in Morocco, which taught her many things about herself. She says that this experience helped her become travel savvy but also made her more sensitive to others beliefs and cultural traditions.
