Lindsay is serving as a member of the NCCC FEMA Corps team Spruce 7 at the Vinton Campus. She chose to participate in NCCC FEMA Corps because she wanted to gain career direction and make a difference in the lives of others and herself.
Lindsay graduated from Liberty High School in 2010 and attended Los Medanos College before joining NCCC FEMA Corps. After her service term ends she hopes to return to school and pursue a career as a clinical counselor for adolescents or a paramedic.
An experience that really impacted Lindsay occurred when she and a friend stopped to help a stranger who had just had a car accident. The woman was shaken up but okay.
