Et cetera : Road ready bicycles needed

Last year we started a local bicycle group and we’ve had some good rides in and around Vinton and Benton County. Some were training for RAGBRAI and others for triathlons and some just wanted to get out and get some exercise. If anyone is interested in joining in on the upcoming season, just email us at the address below and we’ll add you to the group emailing for any upcoming rides. But more importantly, I’ve had some inquiries from the AmeriCorps/FemaCorps volunteers to ride with us. Sometimes we had a spare bike that they could use, sometimes not. If you have a road bike in good working order that the volunteers can use while they’re in Vinton, please emailcyclevinton@mediacombb.net and we’ll submit the list to the AmeriCorps organization for approval. A helmet newer than 5 years would be nice too. These are good kids doing great things.
