For their third project, Oak 1 is working for Central Rivers Farmshed in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Oak 1 picked up where another NCCC team left off by removing glass panes from an unfinished greenhouse. Moving swiftly, the team is removing the panes using scissor lifts from another greenhouse. Altogether, the team cleared out over one hundred pounds of glass so far, which was thrown into the dumpster after its removal.

While half of the team does glass removal, the other half pulls weeds in and around each greenhouse. There are several other mini tasks that the team is doing: picking up the small metal pieces that held the glass together, picking up broken glass and sweeping large areas. In addition, the team had received training on how to take soil, thrown away food, leaves to make a compost pile. Compost is a mixture that consists largely of decayed organic matter and is used for fertilizing and conditioning land.
