Et cetera : Three Confirmed into membership at the Presbyterian Church

On Sunday, June 15, 2014, The Presbyterian Church of Vinton celebrated the confirmation of three new members into our church.

Pastor Jessica Crane-Munoz confirmed into membership Tyler Clark and Alyssa Clark, (son and daughter of Mike and Lisa Clark) and Tiara Burke, daughter of Tom and Mindy Burke.

The confirmand's teacher, Edwon Yedlik, spoke of the year- long education the youth completed. Each confirmand received gifts of: a book entitled "Bible Promises for Teens," a needle-tatted cross bookmark, and engraved Bibles. Gifts were presented by Pauline Elwick and Cindy Tippett, representatives of the Christian Education Committee.

A reception was held honoring the confirmands after worship service.
