The North Eden Willing Workers 4-H club met at 5 o'clock p.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vinton. 26 members attended. The treasurer's report was given and two bills approved for payment.

The Fundraising committee collected “That's My Pan” order forms for the first order. Anyone who would like to order a pan can contact a member of the club.

Kate Hyland and Tess Lillibridge reported on the club trip Saturday to ReStore in Cedar Rapids, which was educational and had a lot of fun things to do. The club has also received a grant for a community service project and will be doing some gardening at the Lutheran Home soon. Beef exhibitors will meet ten minutes early at the next meeting to discuss Herdsmanship improvements. Members are asked to check their calendars for July,29th ; the Eden Community Aid would like the club to serve a meal at their 100th Anniversary Homecoming Party, at the Newhall Pavilion at 6 o'clock, and we would like everyone to try to make it. The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m. and presentations were given by Lydia Radeke, who taught the club about her rabbits and how to take care of them. Kate Hyland showed the club how to make puppy chow. Riley DeKlotz did a card trick. Zena Aragon presented on Seattle WA. Jordan Pattee made amazing cheesecake. Lily Dahlstrom made a cootie catcher. Alex Guenther made homemade chips and beans, and Tucker Clark made plants with a newspaper pot. The club planted seeds in them. After the seed planting we got snack provided by Kaisers, Hylands, Lillibridge, Guenthers and Meyers. The next meeting will be at 6 o'clock p.m., Sunday May 3rd at Rodgers' Park for our Spring Picnic with other clubs. Games will be at 6:30. Also, members please mark July 13th 5-7 p.m. on your calendar for the Achievement Show which will be at Catholic Church in Vinton.
