Et cetera : Bayer Fund provides grant to Benton Community FFA

The America's Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by Bayer Fund, partners with farmers to provide grants to local nonprofits to help their communities.

Through the program, farmers enroll for the chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a local eligible nonprofit organization of their choice.

The America's Farmers programs have given more than $57 million to rural America since 2010. 

Local farmer Andrea Nolan recently directed a $2,500 America's Farmers Grow Communities donation, sponsored by Bayer Fund, to Benton Community FFA. As part of their mission the organization will use the funds to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Celebrating its 10th year, America's Farmers Grow Communities partners with farmers to support nonprofit organizations strengthening rural communities. The program offers farmers the chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit of their choice. It has awarded more than $33 million to over 8,000 nonprofits across rural America.
