Jordan graduated from Pine River Backus High School and the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a Bachelors degree in Political Science in 2010. He considers himself to be a very efficient at multi-tasking and he also works well under pressure. Before NCCC started, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May and then he moved to Minneapolis where he spent time cooking in several different restaurants. Jordan found out about NCCC through a friend. When asked why he chose to do a term of national service, Jordan said, “I've always felt a responsibility to give back to the country and communities that have given me so much. I think service like this is very important to ensure that future generations of Americans will continue to have access to the same resources that I have had. After finishing this year with NCCC, would like to pursue working for the Foreign Service and State Department abroad since it has always intrigued him
Jordan and Oak 6 are performing prescribed burns with Louisa County Conservation Board, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and Iowa Department of Natural Resources. They are also assisting Louisa County Conservation Board with land management and environmental education.
