The Vinton Garden Club member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Region, Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa, Inc. and District II met on May 30th at the Marriott in Cedar Rapids. The program was “how to fold napkins fancy”. Each member who attended got to fold 2 napkins in about 8-10 different ways.

After lunch the President Fran Stueck called the meeting to order. Members recited the Pledge of Allegiance and recited the Conservation Pledge. Seven members answered roll call “Do you use cloth napkins?”

Secretary Joyce Bratten read the minutes from the April meeting. There were no corrections so the minutes stand approved.
