Et cetera : City accepting bids on old police vehicle

The City of Vinton is taking bids to sell a 2009 Chevrolet Impala (former police vehicle) with 68,655 miles. Minimum bid is $2,000. Vehicle sold “as-is” condition. The vehicle can be seen by calling the Vinton Street Department at 319-472-2768. Sealed bids can be sent to “Chevrolet Impala Bid”, Attn: City Coordinator, City of Vinton, P.O. Box 529, Vinton, IA 52349. Bid deadline is 9:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2012. Successful bidder is responsible for delivery. City of Vinton reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
