Reed Family Berks of Ottumwa showed the Champion Gilt and Reserve Champion Boar at the Berkshire Swine Show August 16 at the 2012 Iowa State Fair.
The Champion Boar was exhibited by Brice Conover of Baxter. Vivian Benjegerdes of Mason City was awarded the Reserve Champion Gilt banner.
The Premier Exhibitor award went to Shady Brook Farm of Oakland. The Premier Exhibitor Award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based upon the day's placings.
Animals are divided according to farrowing date based on the other animals entered in the competition.
