Krista Eichhorst is originally from Mankato, Minnesota but currently resides in Vinton. She received her bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Beloit College in 2009. After graduation Krista served two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) member and VISTA Leader with the Minnesota Literacy Council, providing volunteer and VISTA member recruitment, training, and support.
Krista has enjoyed working in the nonprofit sector and with national service programs. She is excited to continue serving others through her work with AmeriCorps NCCC and brings her passion for telling the AmeriCorps story to her position.
Krista has been hired as the Assistant Community Relations Specialist for the North Central Region. Her responsibilities include supporting the Community Relations Office with event planning, social media and media generation, and Corps Member and Team Leader recruitment.
