With Fall here it's time to take a photo of your favorite place in Iowa and enter Keep Iowa Beautiful's 10th Photography Contest aimed at raising awareness of Iowa's rural and urban beauty.

At our September 18 meeting the program was presented by Randy Scheel, Benton County Conservation Board Member and Adam Robenberg, Middle Cedar Watershed Project Coordinator.

Kirkwood Community College has released its Dean's List for the summer 2019 semester. These students have achieved a 3.3 grade point average or higher after completing 12 or more credit hours at the college.

Champion High Point Exhibitor honors were awarded to Morgan Williams of Hudson at the FFA Horse Show judged Wednesday during the 2019 Iowa State Fair.

Troy Anderson of Hamilton County was crowned Cookout Champion in the 55th  annual Farm Bureau Cookout Contest judged Tuesday at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.
