Marissa Brandt of Center Point and 21 other Central College students are setting a record. They’re filling the labs with Central’s largest-ever number of chemistry researchers, says professor of chemistry Cathy Haustein.

Jenna Schade named to University of Iowa President's List

Jenna Schade, a native of Walker, IA, was named to the University of Iowa President's List for the 2014 fall semester. The President's List was established in the fall of 1983 to recognize academic excellence.

Local students receive degree from University of Iowa

James Leibold Graduates from Illinois Central College

James R Leibold, of Newhall, IA, graduated from Illinois Central College, East Peoria, with a/an Associate in Applied Science Degree. Nearly 800 students met the graduation requirements for the Summer and Fall 2014 semesters.
