Urbana area Korean War veterans receive honor

Our Veterans are special people in our communities and our country. Sixty-years ago our Korean Veterans went to war with not much recognition. Last year there was a parade in Des Moines to honor our Korean War Veterans.

  On Friday, January 11, the VSHS Chamber Singers competed at the Onalaska Classic Concert Choir Competition in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Schools from Wisconsin and Iowa performed throughout the afternoon and evening for a panel of three judges.
