Ja Glo Jerseys of Central City earned the Herdsman Award on Saturday at the conclusion of the dairy cattle show at the 2012 Iowa State Fair. The Herdsman Award recognizes the top exhibitors and ranks them based on the cleanliness of stalls, animals and aisles in the Boulevard of Dairy Breeds as well as the upkeep and sanitation of equipment over the course of the dairy shows.

  Oak 4 has been working at the Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Spearfish, S.D. The weekend of their arrival, a wildfire ravaged over 18,000 acres of the western portion of the state of South Dakota while firefighters across the state fought tirelessly to control the blaze.
