Et cetera : The Jill g. Lockard-Bopp Scholarship available only to V-S, CPU and BC students

A new scholarship opportunity has been created for students who are graduating and seek to pursue a career in the performing arts, or are dedicated to helping others pursue such dreams, such as performing arts educators.

This scholarship is recently established to honor Jill g. Lockard-Bopp. Jill was passionate about and active in all of the performing arts – theater, music, dance, opera. If it involved a performance before an audience she was highly supportive of it.

The scholarship is available to graduates of Vinton-Shellsburg, Center Point-Urbana or Benton Community School Districts seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree. The amount of scholarships awarded will be $500 and is solely made at the discretion of the scholarship award committee.

Tax-exempt donations are being accepted for this scholarship program.

The application deadline for scholarships awarded for the 2016-17 academic year must be completed and all supporting documentation must be received by February 15, 2016.
