At the Sunday worship service on January 31st, 2016 Bethlehem Lutheran Church
presented the 1st $103.00 gift to the Vinton Municipal Electric Utility and their Project Share program.

Project Share is a plan, created by VMEU, to assist needy households in paying their wintertime energy bills.
The utility identifies those qualifying for help by HAACAP.  A local committee overseas Project Share to guarantee that all contributions will be handled equitably and efficiently.  Qualifying households are assisted only 1x per year.  These households must pay a minimum of $75.00 toward their bill, and the electric utility matches up to $75.00.
The gift was accepted by their General Manager, Tom Richtsmeier.
