Et cetera : Blue and Gold Banquet: Scouts honor Arrow of Light recipients

These 7 Cub Scouts have earned the Arrow of Light as they prepare to become Boy Scouts.

Seven Pack 47 Webelos earned the highest honor of Cub Scouting, the Arrow of Light, and were honored Friday during the annual Blue & Gold Banquet. Ryan Carolus, JR Clapp, Nicholas Mesa, Dane Moore, Jonathan Mosher, Gunnar Schminke and Ian Vrba received an arrow plaque in honor of their years of achievement as Scouts, and they crossed the ceremonial bridge to join the Boy Scouts. Other scouts received awards, and the Pack ended the night in the Tilford gym, playing arcade-style games.

The Scouts and their families also heard from a representative of Friends of Scouting. The Webelos and their families also fried fish and shrimp and enjoyed cakes decorated with vintage video game themes for their annual event.
