Et cetera : Memorial Day: Veterans lead March to Bridge, ceremonies at Cemeteries, Veterans Park

The Memorial Day commemorations in Vinton included several traditions that have been continuing for years. Veterans began the morning with tributes at local cemeteries. The March to the Bridge to honor Navy dead and others buried at sea, as well as the service at Veterans Park included many veterans, the VS Marching Band, and many participants and spectators.
