Et cetera : How to Get a Story or Obituary to Us

Sometimes folks in the area might have a relative that passed away, grandparents, aunts or uncles or cousins or you might know of a former classmate from Vinton (or the other schools in Benton County) and you think that people should know about it. We think so too! Vinton Today has made the ability to share obituaries really simple. Just email the information to vintontoday@hotmail.com Sometimes people will know that someone passed away, and have the link to the funeral information, this is alright to send to us too. Obituaries are an important part of our stories. Don't hesitate to send one in. We want to keep everyone up to date on happenings, and especially when it comes to the losses in our community. The same is true for stories or announcements. Stories don't have to be two pages long (unless you want to send one in that's that long), just send us the information and we'll take care of the rest. If you don't "do" email, some of our younger readers don't, you can contact us through Facebook. Just send a message to us there and we'll take care of the details. No story is too big or small for us!
