Et cetera : Sweet Adelines reunite and reminisce

Former Vinton Sweet Adeline members reunited

Former Vinton Sweet Adeline members met June 8 for lunch and reminiscing. The group won 1st place in Region 6 competitions in 1965 under the direction of Jean Reipe. Competitions were held in Omaha, NE, St. Joseph, MO, Minneapolis MN, Kansas City, MO and Cedar Rapids, IA. at one time there were 57 members in the chapter and those attending the lunch were from Cedar Rapids, Eagle Grove, Garrison, Ankeny and Vinton.
