Et cetera : Estate and Farm Succession Planning Workshop in Toledo, Thursday, December 11

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Tama County will host an Estate and Succession Planning Workshop on Thursday, December 11, 2025, beginning at Noon with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. The location is the State Bank of Toledo Community Room, at 103 S. Broadway St, Toledo, Iowa, with the meeting lasting until 4:00pm. Patrick Hatting, Farm Business Management Specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will facilitate the program.

Discussion will focus on setting goals, communication, challenges to estate planning, taking inventory and a farm transition case study.

Pre-registration is required for this event. A catered lunch from Spanky’s Catering will be provided. The cost of this program is $50 per person, $40 for each additional family member.
