To celebrate its 100 years Bethlehem Lutheran Church is giving to different organizations a $100 gift. Each month a different organization or group is selected and presented a check. The recipient for the Month of May is Lutheran lakeside camp. The check will be used to help fund a counselor at the camp for the summer.
In the picture Marlyn Jorgensen is shown presenting the check on behave of the congregation to Rachel Dickinson who is responsible for the youth ministry at Bethlehem,and this year will be taking 4 young girls to the camp. Those young ladies are Emma Dickinson, Grayce McClintock, Hannah Crane and Sylvia Vaupel.
Bethlehem will hold an open house for the pubic to celebrate its Centennial on Monday evening June 10th from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. There will be refreshments and drink as well as an opportunity to view many displays of memorabilia and many Swedish articles.
