'Ghosts' by Dolly Alderton is my latest find on the Libby App, and I may or may not have developed a little crush on Alderton herself. The novel follows Nina Dean, a food writer in her 30s, who has spent the last few years rebuilding her life and career, buying her own home, and moving on from a long-term relationship that ended amicably.

Review of 'Thanksgiving Blessing' by Marta PerryOur subject of the month was 'Harvest,' and I immediately thought of apple orchards. I chose this book from the 'An Amish Holiday Novel' series because it involves a young widow who owns an orchard and sells her fruit and vegetables at a roadside stand.

My choice for this month's Adventures in Bookclubbing 'Harvest' theme was 'A Honeybee Heart Has Five Openings: A Year of Keeping Bees' by Helen Jukes. This is a nonfiction book and reads like a year-long diary with interesting historical tidbits thrown in.
