Ashley Prunier from Worcester, Massachusetts is serving on team Maple 5 in AmeriCorps NCCC Corps Class 21. She arrived in Vinton in February of 2015 to start her 10-month service term with the program.

Spring term honors students named by Concordia University, Nebraska

Concordia University, Nebraska named 230 students to its honors list for the spring 2015 semester. The list of students includes: Morgan Eggert, a sophomore from Atkins, Iowa Kenzie Woltemath, a junior from Atkins, Iowa The top 25 percent of all undergraduate students who complete at least 12 credit hours qualify for the honors list.

Morningside College awards degrees to spring graduates

Morningside College presented degrees to more than 320 undergraduate and graduate students during its 117th spring commencement held on May 9. Morningside College is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college with a total enrollment of more than 2,800 students.
