Today’s spotlight is Brittney Green who hails from Muldraugh, KY. Behind the scenes working as the Community Relations Support Team Leader, Brittney graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative writing in May of 2009. Last year, Brittney participated in AmeriCorps NCCC as a Corps Member of Class XVI in Vinton, IA. Brittney came back for another year because she believes that her experiences from last year has brought her so many indescribable experiences and new skills that another year could only increase her knowledge of communities around the country and increase her awareness of diverse individuals.
Q: Where was your first job?
A: I was the only waitress in a small restaurant in my hometown.

A: Bruce Willis
Q: What will be your first words of advice for your team members?
A: What you put in to this year is what you will get out of it.
Q: One place in the world you really, really wish you could visit?
A: I would love to be able to visit several countries like Spain, Greece, Italy, Germany, Sudan, Argentina, Cambodia, and Australia because I am fascinated by different cultures.
Q: What is your favorite candy bar?
A: Dark chocolate
Q: Are there any sayings your parents repeated over and over that you can still remember clearly?
A: Never quit and always remember you are never alone.
