It's that time of year again: AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) members are leaving for their first projects. This year is different. This year the NCCC campus in Vinton has be assigned the national AmeriCorps NCCC Team Blog. One team from the campus was selected by staff to blog about their NCCC experience for the next 10 months.

The team chosen to write for the blog this year is none other than Darcy Forlenza's team, Maple 4, from the Maple Unit. “I'm super excited that we get to write for the blog. It will definitely be challenging, but we are the best team ever, so I'm not worried at all,” says Darcy.

Each week, one member from the team is posting an entry relating to whatever adventures they happen to get into. The purpose of the blog is to give potential members a solid look into what exactly goes on inside an NCCC team.
