Today’s spotlight is Natalie Shedd who hails from St, Louis, MO. Leading Cedar 5 this year, Team Leader Natalie graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor in Social Work. Natalie brings with her experience in the areas of mediation and counseling. She is also a very optimistic person-which is helpful in most areas in life. She values personal growth and fitness and hopes to bring that to her team. This is Natalie’s second year serving with NCCC. Even before completing her first year of service with NCCC six years ago, she knew that she wanted to have the opportunity to serve another year. She is very excited to be back in NCCC.
Q: What were you doing before NCCC?
A: I was interning with the National MS (Multiple Sclerosis) society while finishing my degree.
Q: What was your first job?
A: I worked at Panera
Q: Who is your favorite actor?
A: Kevin Spacey
Q: What will be your first words of advice for your team members?
A: Let’s work together to have a great year.
Q: One place in the world you really, really wish you could visit?
A: Rio De Genero, Brazil – my dad lived there and talks about it a lot.
Q: Favorite candy bar?
A: There are so many…I’m gonna go snickers
Q: Are there any sayings your parents repeated over and over that you can still remember clearly?
A: “Balance is key” and “Life is short, but it’s not that short”.

A: Ken Follet

A: The clothes. BDU’s are great. I love them!
