Today’s spotlight is Alanna Taylor who hails from Orlando, FL. Leading Maple 7 this year, Team Leader Alanna graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Restaurant Management and Marketing. Alanna brings the ability to exhibit a level of care, understanding, and business sense that translate well into the community service spectrum. Alanna joined AmeriCorps NCCC because she wanted an intense experience that offered the opportunity to commit full-time to community service and something that would act as a launching pad for a new career path into non-profits.
Q: What were you doing before NCCC?
A: I was finishing my degree at UCF.
Q: What was your first job?
A: I worked at Chuck E. Cheese.
Q: Who is your favorite actor?
A: Denzel Washington
Q: What will be your first words of advice for your team members?
A: Naps are a great part of life and can really help when you’re having a bad day.
Q: One place in the world you really, really wish you could visit?
A: Paris, France - I like French people.
Q: Favorite candy bar?
A: Ferrero Roche

A: “Just Finish”
