A group of 10 adults from Blessed Hope Church will be travelling from July 4-11 to help at the New Life Children's Home in Guatemala.
Orphaned, abandoned, and abused children have found a refuge and safe haven at NLCH, since this orphanage was created in 1976. At NLCH each child receives 24-hour-a-day loving care, a Christian education and discipleship. Here, they experience the love and joy of Jesus Christ. As a part of this ministry, there is a school and a clinic onsite that are open for the community. The PURPOSE of NLCH is to lead individuals into the presence and reality of Jesus Christ. The MISSION is to train, equip, restore, and renew leaders in the body of Christ.
The McCauley family, formerly of Aplington, Iowa, has been supported by Blessed Hope Church for several years, and is excited to have the opportunity to serve additionally by sending adults to assist with needed projects in and around the orphanage.
