Et cetera : Winner of $1,000 4-H / IFAA Foundation Scholarship

Katelyn Samuelson is an eight-year 4-H member.  She has participated in sheep, food and nutrition, photography, and veterinary science projects.  She received the Burrows Challenge Award and a Danforth “I Dare You” award.  She has served as president, secretary, and reporter for her 4-H club.  “4-H has helped me to become a responsible, outgoing, and motivated person,” she said.  “Through my 4-H projects, I have gained self-confidence and pride in my accomplishments.”  Samuelson plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Agricultural Exploration.
