By: Emily and Jordan AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps team Oak Six is helping to muck and gut houses in South Dakota. Oak Six is working there from October 13th to November 7th.             The team is helping citizens of the town Fort Pierre and citizens from the state capitol Pierre. Oak Six is going to houses that were affected by the flooding back in May; where the water receded back in August. The team is assisting by removing parts of the house where mold can grow such as walls, floors, ceiling, etc. The team is working with Lutheran Social Services.
