Name: Caleb Klima
Hometown: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin
Caleb Klima is serving as a Team Leader for Class 18 at the Vinton campus. He will lead team Maple 5 through a number of service projects over the next 10-months.
Prior to joining NCCC in January, Caleb served with an AmeriCorps program in Madison, Wisconsin called Partners for After School Success from September 2010 through August 2011. Through this program Caleb created and implemented an afterschool middle school program for a local Madison neighborhood center.
Caleb brings the following skills to his Team Leader position: experience, dedication, hard work, in-depth knowledge of history and geography of United States, extended volunteer experience and past AmeriCorps term served.
Caleb graduated from Neenah High School in 2005 and University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in School of Letters and Science and History and Geography and a certificate in Environmental Studies. Caleb chose to serve because he has always wanted to serve his country for all that it has given him. Upon completion of his Team Leader year he plans to attend graduate school.
