Post Prom: Students enjoy variety of games, food and a hypnotism display

A chocolate fountain was among the refreshments available at the 2012 VS Post Prom.

This obstacle course was a favorite among 2012 VSHS Post-Prom participants.

The Vinton-Shellsburg Post Prom included a variety of activities throughout the night, from midnight to 6 a.m. on Saturday. Hypnotist Jim Wand returned to Vinton to another performance; several students wrote in their Prom introductions that his show was what they were most looking forward to at Post Prom. A variety of games and a "Minute to Win It" contest took place in the gym, while the auditorium was transformed into a "Family Feud" studio.

The Post Prom Committee has spent the past several months organizing and raising funds for the event.
