Hometown: Oakville, Connecticut

 

Tara is serving her second year with the AmeriCorps NCCC as a Team Leader at the Vinton Campus. Tiffany served at the Atlantic Region Campus in Perry Point, Maryland as a Corps Member in Class 16.

 

After serving at the Perry Point campus, Tara served with City Year Greater Philadelphia. These two experiences were some of the most challenging, exciting and humbling times in her life. Tara wanted to continue her service and share her passion and dedication. She hopes to guide, support and challenge her team to make the best out of their year.

 

Tara graduated from Watertown High School in June 2005. After her term of service, Tara would like to either find a job in the non-profit sector or return to school and pursue a degree in Social Work.

Q: Are there any saying your parents repeated over and over that you can still remembers clearly? “My Parents/dad was always supportive and encouraging me to do what makes me happy.”
