Wesley United Methodist Church, the Vinton Presbyterian Church and Bethlehem Lutheran Church are combining their efforts to bring Vinton Knights of the North Castle. Vacation Bible School will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church on July 25-29, from 6-8 p.m. Ages 4-12 are welcome to register and attend.Cokesbury's VBS, Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King's Armor, invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God's power by exploring how we put on the armor of God. VPRD Farmers Market at Celebration Park tonight 5-7:00 p.m.
Running until September 9th, every Thursday evening, there will be a Vinton Parks and Rec Department Farmers Market. Each Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. vendors meet at Celebration Park to share their wares with the community. There will be hot food each week provided by Merchant's Grilling or the Vinton Lion's Club.The Farmers Market will be held each week rain or shine. Early Arts Study Club News

Garrison's 13th Fun Day hosted car show and activities for all ages
Several folks made their way to Garrison on Saturday for the annual Garrison Fun Day. The event is held each year as part of the annual fundraiser for the Garrison Emergency Services Foundation. The annual activities are Hosted by the Garrison Fire Department, Garrison First Responders, and the Garrison Fire Auxiliary. The 13th annual Show & Shine Car show added a craft show this year as well. Bring the Noise 5K, August 28
Lace up your shoes and get training friends! The Bring the Noise 5K is BACK!! What better way to start off Boomfest/Boomtown Weekend than with a run around town!Calling all runners (and walkers)! Come join us for the Annual "Bring the Noise 5K" brought to you by Vinton Noon Kiwanis.We will have a 5K Race & A 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Back in person this year we are lacing up our shoes on August 28.
George G. Luckey Post to hold Tenderloin Dinner July 22
The Vinton American Legion will be holding a Tenderloin Dinner on Thursday, July 22nd from 5.00 to 7:00 pm ( For those with allergy concerns, the tenderloins are fried in peanut oil.)The 8 oz Tenderloin is served on a bun with French Fries on the side and a Dessert for $10.00.The George G. Garrison Fun Day July 10
Garrison Fun Day is an annual fundraiser for the Garrison Emergency Services Foundation. The event is hosted by Garrison Fire Dept, Garrison First Responders and the Garrison Fire Auxiliary. In conjunction with our 13th annual Show & Shine Car show we have added a craft show to this year's events for a Cars & Crafts Street Fair.
