Vinton Public Library hosting Quilts of Valor Display

Quilts of Valor will be on display at the Vinton Public Library beginning on Wednesday, May 5th and will run through Thursday, May 27th. Feel free to stop in to learn about the Quilts of Valor program and enjoy some of these works of art. On Tuesday, May 11th and Thursday, May 20th, Rita Moore and Elayne Gas[st]t will be available to throughout the day offering some mini talks and available to answer questions.

Center Point Museum to Open Sunday, June 6

After a year shut down for the pandemic, the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum will re-open on Sunday, June 6, from 2-4. Museum admission is free.Society members met April 26, 2021, and decided to open the Museum Sunday afternoons, 2-4, through September. Pending changes in national and local health recommendations, guests are asked to please mask.
