Shellsburg's Big Day - July 15
The annual Shellsburg Celebration, Big Day is coming on Saturday, July 15. The parade will start at 10:30 at the school. Farmers Market to feature Virginia Gay Hospital and Healthy Living tonight
Join the fun at our special “community celebration” every Thursday night. Music, entertainment, games, and activities held each week. Hot sandwiches served at our outdoor café. This market showcases the best of Benton County producers of fruits, vegtables, jams, baked goods, and more! CP Historical Society to host Phil Borleske
The Center Point Historical Society will host a program on Sunday, June 25, at 2:00 p.m. by Phil Borleske of Vinton. The program is entitled, “All Aboard: A Snapshot of Iowa Railroads, Past & Present.” Borleske is a member of the Benton County Historical Society and Historic Preservation Commission. This free slide show can be seen at the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum, 700 E.

Robert Hagen to celebrate 90th Birthday
Help us celebrate! Robert Hagen (aka bus driver Bob) will be turning 90!!! There will be an open house in his honor on June 10th from 3-5 at the Blairstown Community Building.Everyone is invited to attend!

Trivia Night FUNdraiser, June 17
The First Christian Church in Center Point and CPU Crew have teamed up to host a Trivia Night FUNdraiser. The event will be held on June 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Center in Center Point. The event will be used to raise funds to send youth to camp and support the Crew in their activities around Center Point. The cost is $12.50 per person with a limit of 8 people per team.
