A Spooktacular Day will take place on Saturday, October 31, in downtown Vinton. Beginning at 10:00 AM there will be Halloween games followed at 10:45 AM with a Costume parade through downtown.

Trick or Treating in Vinton will begin at 5:00 p.m. and run until 7:00 p.m. for residents who would like to participate.

There will be an Open Skate Costume Party and Ghostly Glow Mini Golf event at the Skate Center from 7:00-9:00 PM. This event is limited to the first 75 skaters! Cost for this event is $4.50/skater, $2.00/MG round.

A couple of the area churches will host Trunk or Treat events this year.

Blessed Hope will begin their event at 3:00 p.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. before the city wide event.

Decorated cars will be lined up in the church parking lot and ready for your family to stop by before the town-wide trick or treating.

The church will also be grilling up free hamburgers & hot dogs. All kids welcome!

Wesley United Methodist Church will hold their Trunk or Treat event from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Halloween night. Cars will be located in front of the church decorated for the event with candy for the kids.
