Events and Activities : Veterans Stand Down Event October 23

The "Stand Down" event will be held on Saturday October 23, at the Belle Plaine Legion Hall located at 1008 12th St. from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

Any veteran and their family is welcome to stop in and choose anything that you can use.

Selection includes clothing and personal care items.

Veteran's Affairs personnel will be on hand to answer any questions that you might have.

The event is sponsored by the American Legion Auxilary Post 39 in Belle Plaine and the VFW Post & Auxiliary 8884 in Vinton.
