The Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Resolution

Events like this are taking place throughout the U.S., following a resolution passed by the U.S. Senate to honor the veterans of Vietnam. March 30, 1973, was the day that the Vietnam War formally ended. U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) introduced the resolution in February; it passed in the Senate March 7.
