You can indulge your inner intellectual without injuring your income at the Friends of the Center Point Library annual Used Book Sale, this year to be held during Center Point Garage Sale days.
Hardcovers are $1 (coffee table books, classics, and all,) paperbacks are 50 cents, and children's books of any kind are 25 cents. There will also be audio books and movies and who-knows-what-else--possibly cake pans and plants, puzzles and computers, never kittens or puppies, alas.
The sale will be held in the Andersen Center Point Public Library basement community room. Times are Thursday, June 9 -11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, June 10 - 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday, June 11 - 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The Book Sale is Friends of the Library's main moneymaker each year. Friends' funds help with the Library children's programming, the Summer Reading Program for all ages, free events at the Library and Library needs not covered in the general budget.
