At a Lions Club meeting yesterday, Don Eells gave Clickstop’s owner an opportunity to introduce his company to local business and community leaders.

Speaking to approximately 50 members, Tim Guenther discussed the company’s history, category expertise, and plans for growth including a new facility slated for January 2011. Clickstop, founded in 2005, has grown exponentially in the past two years, outpacing the gross domestic product and ecommerce sector performance. In 2009, the company revenue grew 42% and employee growth hit 100%. It’s anticipated that 5 additional employees will be added this year in the areas of human resources and sales. “The Lions meeting gave me the chance to become acquainted with some new people,” said Guenther. “It’s important to me to contribute to the community and build strong roots for my family. I’m glad to have been able to share good news about Clickstop’s success and send a positive message about future job growth. We aim to be a preferred employer in Benton County.” During the meeting, Special Olympics representative Brian Larkin also called out Clickstop’s recent philanthropic support for his organization. The company recently donated 6 pieces of cat furniture from its Ace Cat Furniture brand to help raise funds through a silent auction, ultimately netting about $500 of the $2,500 earned during the event. Clickstop employees also donate their time to assist in the weekly Special Olympics track and field practices.
