May is a happening month, in Nature and at the Center Point Historical Society Depot Museum:

Sunday, May 5. 2 p.m. - There will be a talk on “ Trees and Tree Planting” by Linn County Park Ranger, Shaun Reilly.

Sunday, May 12. 2 p.m. – A presentation will be given concerning this year’s periodic cicada big buzz by Chuck Ungs of the Wickiup Hill Learning Center.

Sunday, May 19. 2 p.m. – Plant Swap, and presentation on “Attracting Butterflies,” by Dennis Schlicht, “Butterflies of Iowa” co-author.

All events are Free admission.
