Events and Activities : Author George Khal will speak at the Vinton Public Library September 19

The Vinton Public Library will host author George Khal on Thursday, September 19 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The library is located at 510 2nd Ave. in Vinton. 

Khal is author of his memoir, "The First Night of the Crescent Moon: My Journey from Palestine to Iowa."
